Hello our names are Cassidy and Charlotte. We are 2 foals in need of sponsorship, perhaps forever. We both have neurological problems which our Vet has said there is no cure for. We have tried the treatment for EPM, which is the only neurological disease with a cure, but unfortunately it was not that. Please sponsor us we are very cute. Update.  June 10th, 2007 Both Cassidy and Charlotte have recently been treated with two products. One is called Rapid Responce and the other is Un-Tye-Me. Both products are produced by a company called Amerdon International. Both horses have shown a remarkable improvement in their condition. Charlotte is now turned out in a large paddock and moving very freely whilst Cassidy can now be exercised in our round pen. This is something that we thought would never happen. We feel very lucky to have found these product's. Hello my name is Deborah. I was a PMU Quarter horse foal born in North Dakota in May 2005. When I arrived at Castleton Ranch Horse Rescue I was very undernourished and needed a lot of special growth suppliments. Now 1 year later I am in good health and have begun my training. I am still shy of strangers after being badly treated before my rescue, but I am trying hard and I am sure I will eventually become a lovely safe trail riding horse. Hello, may name is Roberto and I am a 2 year old Thoroughbred. I was born at Castleton Ranch a few months after my mother Cheryln was rescued from a feedlot. As a foal I was just as any regular foal should be but later as a yearling I developed "contracted tendons". The Vet said we should try and let me grow naturally for a short while but instead of getting better my legs got worse until the only hope for me was an expensive surgery called "Check Ligament Surgery". My surgery, training, lay-up, aftercare and farrier would amount to several thousand dollars but thanks to Donna, Pam, Tamara, Rachelle, Annette, Lois and many more of our wonderful and caring donors, I was able to have my surgery and my  great recovery has even surprised our Vet. I am getting around great now but I will always be here at the ranch as I will most likely not be able to hold the weight of a rider. I am a very sweet and loving horse and want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for helping me. I would be delighted if anyone would like to sponsor me. Thank you for caring.

Hello may name is Marmalade and I am a 5 year old Thoroughbred. I am extremely cute and love attention. Unfortunately I had an accident last year where I fractured my neck and 2 bones in my tibia. I am very lucky to have survived these injuries. I am now receiving special medication that accelerates the healing process with my fractures. I will never be able to be ridden and so I am a permanent resident. I would love it if you wanted to sponsor me.
